Joanna is a D.C.-based congressional reporter. She has worked with media networks like Al Jazeera and Business Insider, as well as in local papers in both New York City and Iowa. During undergrad, she engaged in opportunities to learn and work as a journalist through internships at The Brooklyn Paper and Brooklyn Daily Eagle, and through a leadership role as Digital Managing Editor of The Monitor. In her free time, she enjoys catching up on podcasts, exploring the Distract on runs, and being with family and friends.
